Polycarbonate Shell w/ Aggressive Deflection Points: Giving this mask a striking appearance with sharp features to help deflect pucks, the Axis F5 mask's shell is formed entirely from a rigid Polycarbonate. Found in everything from impact-resistant windows, and high-impact personal protective equipment, polycarbonate materials offer excellent impact resistance and resistance to splintering for their relatively low weight.

Multi-Layered VN Foam Lining: Lining the Axis F5 mask, multiple layers of VN foams balance comfort and impact resistance, without giving it a bulky feel. Vinyl Nitrile foams are frequently found in player helmets and goalie masks, chosen for the foam's closed-cell formation that helps to repel excess moisture with a soft, form-fitting feel

Fit & FeelImproved Ventilation: Redesigned from the Axis 1.5 mask, CCM's Axis F5 shell debuts aggressive venting, working in combination with its VN lining to better ventilate heat through the top of the mask.

Kid-friendly Velcro® Jaw Strapping: Unique to the Junior & Youth Axis F5 masks, its traditional elastic jaw straps have been replaced with kid-friendly Velcro® strapping, making it easy for developing goalies to adjust and remove the mask.
